Welcome! My name is Tristan (he/him). Astrology is my way of connecting the magical to the mundane, participating in a conversation with a living universe. The stars have long been humanity's guiding lights, and they still delight in helping us navigate our lives with their wisdom, perspective, and insight.Through astrological consultation, I hope to help you enter into a collaborative, co-creative relationship with the stars. We will search for meaning in your chart together and consider how astrology can help you tell better stories about yourself and your life.
My Background
I began my astrological journey with modern astrological cookbooks (usually whatever I could find at the thrift store!) before studying Hellenistic astrology through Chris Brennan's Astrology School. Chris's course taught me to see the symbols of astrology not only as symbols of inner life and personality, but also as symbols of external events and people. I take both of these perspectives into account when reading a chart.Currently, I am studying Narrative Astrology with Ada Pembroke. In Narrative Astrology, every set of astrological symbols is capable of telling many different stories. During a consultation we will explore parallels between your life and the symbols in your chart, and consider what kinds of stories you want those symbols to tell. My studies have made me into an astrological mutt - I use a Hellenistic structural foundation with a modern, humanistic style of interpretation.For a detailed overview of my astrological education and client testimonials, click the link below!
The Technical Stuff
I use Whole Sign Houses, the Ptolemaic (major) aspects, the seven traditional planets, the Lots of Spirit and Fortune, the Lunar Nodes, the Almuten Figuris, essential dignity, decans, Tarot correspondences, and annual profections in my practice.

I'm currently offering free practice readings, as I am still figuring out how I want to define my approach and structure my practice. I am learning a new framework through my Narrative Astrology courses; offering practice readings is a way for me to test different approaches and techniques. Consider this a consultation with a student astrologer, not a seasoned professional.Astrology beckons us into the unknown, showing us a world of possibilities. It cannot offer certainty. As such, I am happy to explore open-ended questions that allow for reflection and open up multiple possibilities (such as "How can I invite love into my life?" or "What do I need to know about choosing the right career?"). I am not comfortable answering yes/no questions, making specific predictions about the future, or answering questions about a third party (such as "What does my partner think of me?").Consultations are 40 minutes over Zoom and require a date, time and place of birth.
